AGAIN?
We’re trained to measure everything with numbers.
Scores. Metrics. KPIs. Wins. Losses.
But over time, I’ve found a far more honest measurement.
It’s a single word:
Again?
Not in a dramatic, overthought way.
Just a quiet, brutally simple check-in.
Would I go to this city again?
That one question instantly tells me what I enjoyed, what drained me, and what kind of environments actually energize me. It’s less about the place—and more about who I am becoming.
Would I eat this food again?
How did it make me feel?
Was it nourishing or just flashy?
Was it made with care—or just calories with good PR?
Would I meet this person again?
Did the conversation feel honest?
Did I leave lighter—or heavier?
Would I take a trip with this group again?
Not whether the photos turned out great.
Not whether the itinerary was packed.
But whether the experience itself felt aligned.
Unless the answer is a clear, unforced yes, there’s something important hiding in the hesitation.
That’s the power of Again?
It cuts through justification.
It bypasses ego.
It ignores sunk cost.
Because sometimes things look successful on the outside but quietly exhaust you on the inside.
And sometimes things fail on paper—but are still deeply worth repeating.
When I ask “Again?”, I’m not just measuring outcomes.
I’m measuring experience.
And experience tells the truth—every time.
Try it.
After a meal.
After a meeting.
After a trip.
After a season of life.
Just ask:
Again?
The answer usually arrives faster than logic ever could.
